Making up for lost posts

Here is a summary of thoughts, ones that would have made into full-blown blog posts had I not been too busy, tired, lazy, distracted to spend the time writing:
1. I am sick of one-sided relationships. I am not your counsellor. I am not here to make your life better and be left with nothing for myself. I am not going to solve your problems for you. You are capable of doing this all on your own. After all, you are an adult.
2. I love @helloross. He should have his own show and be on Chelsea Lately every day. I also love @jesus, but for different reasons. One I worship, the other is is a pseudonym for some guy - likely in PR or marketing that realized he couldn't tweet about anything relevant because at some point it would conflict with his clients.
3. Fall has descended upon us and while I'm super pumped to be wearing a sweater, I am already struggling to get out of bed in the morning. Oh, wait, that happened all summer too.
4. I love my friends and their appreciation for champagne.
5. I am not in high school anymore. If you choose to behave like you are still in high school, you and I will not be friends.
6. Sometimes nice people do mean things. Sometimes smart people do dumb things. And sometimes mean, stupid people surprise you with a little bit of brilliance. I am not talking about Lany parlaying her career onto ETalk.
7. I am dipping my toe into the idea of doing something brilliant with my life. I start class in two weeks.
8. Today I explained how to set up e-billing and automatic payments to my Mum. It reminded me that there is a serious technology gap between generations. I'm sure many people look at my like I'm crazy when I read my paperback or listen to my archaic 1GB iPod shuffle.
9. For those that choose to pitch my company for new business.....it's your job to be nice and accommodating to ME. Not the other way around. I'm not doing myself any favours by giving up time out of my day to come and listen to YOU deliver a pitch that demonstrates you clearly don't get my business.
10. I have reconnected with old friends who remind me that when people can truly see you, you don't have to say much.
