Ok, so I never have a NY resolution. I tend to work on five-year plans. My last five year plan was to get a new career, a foothold into the industry, and get some experience under my belt. Feeling miles behind everyone else who had somehow managed to pick the right path in life the first time, I had to play some serious catch-up. That five year plan ended though, over a year ago and it's taken me this long to come up with something else.
I've checked the first box on this next five years though. I knew it was time for me to change directions career-wise and do something that would lead me in a different direction. I need to learn something new, expand my horizons, and push my own boundaries. So, changing employers - check. I'm happily on my way to learning a whole lot about social media, analytics, and so much more about telecom than I could have ever hoped....yes, one month later, I'm still pumped.
So, what else? I look around and see my peers....weddings, babies, mortgages. Is any of that what I want? I think I'll start a bit smaller - like with a hobby. The question is, what do I want to do? A music or dance class? Should I go back to school and finally get my degree? It almost seems there are too many choices that I'm just going to sit here in indecision. Any suggestions?
