Ok. I am going to just give in and forget about the rules of blogging and tell you now (if you haven't already figured it out) that I'll just post when I have something to say. Since my last post which was written in the middle of what turned out to be the nuttiest Q4 on record, I've barely found the time to gather my thoughts, much less write them down. And because it's Monday morning and I have nothing witty to say, I'll just give you an update in case you are one of the far-too-many-people that I haven't seen in months.
November was a blur, prepping for our biggest tradeshow of the year. Held in Orlando, the show went smoothly, from a media relations perspective it was strong, and it was really nice to catch up with peeps from the industry that I only get to see once a year.
After the show we headed into planning. A quick jaunt to Montreal and then over to Vancouver crashed into Christmas-time at the homestead. I wasn't sure we'd all survive, but six days later we were all still speaking to each other and enjoyed the snowshoeing, vino and Bananagrams (fantastic Scrabble/Crossword-like game...highly recommend!). 2011 was brought in as it should be - with friends and a long weekend to follow.
Now we're well into the year. I was in Vancouver at the start and planning is almost complete. I'm staring down a very long list of things that I've suggested we do, which now means I have to actually do them. It'll be a good year I expect and a very busy one. More time on the road is planned, this time to bases in the US, which I'm pumped about. Friends are getting married and buying houses. And the family is all doing well.
I hope to write again soon and hope you are all doing well.
