It gives you more time to be busy. It's that time of year for me. Q4. A time when it's our biggest push for media, marketing, and planning. This quarter wraps up activities and sets the tone for the next year. I find it interesting, like time actually stops and something magically changes at 11:59:59 on December 31 forcing us to scramble and put the world at right before the new year is upon us.
For the last month and the next one coming, I'll be traveling every other week. I like the travelling in the sense that I try to treat hotel life like a mini vacation, but I'd be hard pressed to say I am still enjoying restaurant food and a lack of routine. I've got two big trips left which will be fun and exciting - Orlando and then Vancouver - but I'll be glad when the holidays are upon us and I can count on my Pilates class, Asian grocer, and seeing friends for three weeks straight.
Last night I went out with friends and realized that some of them I haven't seen since August. Seriously? That has to stop. New Year's resolution already found. Don't let it go more than a month without seeing the people you care about.
