Change ... hmph!

For someone who changes her hairstyle/colour every couple of months, this may come as a shock, but I don't really like change. For others that know me, I am incredibly routine oriented. The month of April is already planned out and the scheduling monster is looking at the days in June with things to fill them. I like my life to stay relatively the same. What I like is to see the changes in my friends' lives and celebrate those changes with them.

It's March 31 and 2011 is flying by (though I'm in denial that February even happened). Work has been ticking along - full of press releases, interviews, the annual report, and getting things in place to meet my goals for the year. On the family front we've had some AMAZING news. My sister is el pregnante. The l'il gaffer is definitely a keener - waving already at three months.

Everyone is over the moon. This is the first baby on our side of the family and Granny will welcome her second great grandchild when she arrives later this year. Baby is due in September and while that seems like quite a lot of time, given how fast this year has flown, Baby will be here before we know it to change all of our lives.

On the friend front there's so much that is happening. Weddings are being planned, besties are moving in together for the first time (happy times!), and some have decided to give up the Big Smoke for life in smaller, greener pastures like Kitchener and Ottawa. Others have gone by the wayside as our lives evolve and new ones have come into the mix of awesomeness.

I just celebrated another birthday - and it's made me realize I don't really have a next-step planned. Counter intuitive I know for someone so organizes, but I'm looking for change. This time, not on the professional side of things. I mean, three jobs in one year and I'm at my limit. Plus work is fun and I really am so happy I made the decision I did. But, I've definitely got the itch to do something semi-drastic. I don't want to move so that's out. Nope....haven't figured out what this change is going to be but I feel it coming on.

All ideas welcome!
