Talk about an amazing weekend! Now, I know what you're thinking, pipe bands and kilts? really? Yes people! Now, I will admit, it definitely helps to have a friend in a band to help you get super pumped and supportive (it also helps to have friends that are on board with eating junk food and frequenting the beer tent) but we had a really good time at the Georgetown Highland Games. Ol' Mel might not have been there, but it was outstanding way to spend a Saturday and get out of the city.
